Donegal v. Down

Who says Donegal has the best beaches? This stretch of pristine sand is ten miles southwest of Islandmore. These days, mum and I go there for picnics, and to walk Sammy (pictured) but the strongest associations are with my father and the whole family - treasured childhood memories of horses, ponies, gallops through the surf... and picnics.
