Postcard from Murray

Venice: Canaletto and His Rivals at the National Gallery

You may remember we had a letter from Monkey a few weeks ago in which he mentioned that his friend Murray had gone to London to 'do all arty farty'. Well, Murray found the time to send us an electronic postcard of his trip, which was so good of him because I know he was all over the place. He sounds in good form and 'did' the Canaletto exhibition at the National Gallery (which finishes today).

Despite the weather he couldn't resist being a tourist in London, feeding the pigeons in Trafalgar sqaure etc etc; but on a more serious note, he was inspired to indulge a growing passion for performance art, which we think is excellent. Here he is in front of Nelson's Column:

Heaven knows what Monkey will make of it - I don't imagine he'll want to encourage this kind of thing though.

Great to hear from him, as always.
