This morning, for the first time this winter, our patented Blue Cabin Combi-thaw device was brought to bear, consisting of a pair of oil lamps (available from your local hardware store) which have the dual functions of bringing the ambient temperature in the (outside) bathroom up to a level where the risk of sticking to the toilet seat is reduced, and restoring a flow of water to the cold taps. It worked a treat on both counts - eventually.
