Stop the wind I want to get off

I will post about last night's One Show when I get a chance, but right now our problem is that it's gusting to gale force from the southwest (ie straight onto the jetty) so we can't get off the island - and we have friends coming from Scotland who should be touching down at Belfast City Airport as I write! Will go and see what's possible, it wasn't meant to be this severe till the afternoon...
