Kate Humble was on Strangford Lough for last night's Autumnwatch on BBC 2 - some good footage but a spectacular sequence of Kate and a conger eel performing an underwater ballet at Lee's wreck near Portaferry, towards the other end of Strangford Lough from The Blue Cabin.
Quote of the week, though, goes to co-presenter Chris Packham, who, with sparrowhawks in mind, had this to say after a viewer's video story of a garden bird (was it a finch?) which had a tick removed from just behind it's left eye, possibly leaving it sight-impaired:
'The first time it doesn't see something coming will be the last time it doesn't see something coming.'
