Northern-Eye

I'm pleased to see that the very talented Mike Hartwell, who lives just three miles from the cabin as the heron flies, has produced a series of A6 card sets of Northern Ireland - even more pleased that they are available as single cards from his website Northern-Eye, because several feature Islandmore from the air. The above pic is of the five-card set Co. Down 2; and The Blue Cabin, with the jetty reaching out into Ringhaddy sound, is in the foreground in card no.5 (on the extreme right). The sets have a clean, contemporary design and the cards are printed on heavy matt stock.

Sets are £6.50 and individual cards £1.30 including postage.

The pic below is of the Strangford Lough shoreline near Kirkcubbin, across the lough from Islandmore. This particular one is not, I think, available as a card but as a print - I just liked the image!

I'm sure the cards are on sale elsewhere but you can certainly get them in Picnic Deli in Killyleagh - I appreciate that's not much use to those who dip into this blog from South Carolina or Nova Scotia..
