Island goats

There was a nice light this afternoon, and the tide was high so I went pottering in the dinghy. These goats graze a neighbouring island. They are extremely shy so I detoured upwind of them and then cut the motor and allowed the boat to drift. As you can see, they're on the move but not unduly disturbed.

The oystercatchers got up just as I was passing, circled the boat and settled on the foreshore again a hundred yards on.
