In response to Stuck In A Book..

I just looked in on Cornflower Books, as I often do, and followed the link in a response to Cornflower's post about The Poet's Wife by Judith Allnatt, to another blog called Stuck In A Book

Stuck In A Book is calling for images that represent our reading habits, and my tuppenceworth is above. It's a pony which belonged to my sister, called Big Enough (after the book of the same name by a literary hero of mine, Will James) and given that my preferred reading is 20thC American fiction, I chose it for two associations: the first is Will James, obviously, and the second is Cormac McCarthy's Border Trilogy and in particular All The Pretty Horses.
