When we brought over the materials for the raft, it seemed logical to include for the timber walkway, which is so rotten that parts of it have broken down and been assimilated by the ground.

We gave it a couple of hours on Friday evening, then yesterday I had to be on the mainland, and Lynn - always a bit impatient - carried on by herself. This impressive structure, three-quarters complete, is the result (you can tell that Lynn loves to be photographed - Eddie gives away her position off-camera):
