Shipwreck, Strangford Lough

This was taken early on Sunday morning.

You’d think I would learn after six years, but this is what can happen when you forget to put out a stern anchor last thing at night: the wind changes direction, the boat drifts under the jetty - and the tide comes in..
The second pic is of the final part of the rescue operation, after a heroic amount of baling. The buoyancy tanks will only drain in this position. Not that the buoyancy tanks should let in water to begin with, but my excuse is that the dinghy is twenty-five years old.
