Cool Chile Company

As we have our friends Harriet and James staying this week, it was a Blue Cabin staple for breakfast on the veranda: crispy bacon, fried eggs, croissants - and chipotle chile ketchup. It's not easy to get chipotle sauce over here so either Lynn makes it herself, from dried chipotle (smoked jalapeno) chiles sent by our New Mexico connection and buena amiga Leslie, or we send for the made-up variety from Cool Chile Company in London.
Cool Chile Company is run by the charming Dodie Miller, and every time we order online there is an exchange of emails, a) bemoaning the scarcity of good chile products over here and b) comparing notes on a shared interest - islands.

Typically, our order is for x6 bottles of the ketchup and x6 jars of Chipotle in Adobo; and for anyone interested in venturing into the wonderful world of heat and flavour (we started years ago and are at quite an advanced stage of dependency) I would recommend this combination as a starter pack for the aspiring chilehead.
